COUPLET CHORUS REBUTTAL E91: SHAME ON YOU!

13.12.2021.

...

If the MPs had known that the President of Serbia was preparing to indulge the people’s will, expressed at the street protests, a different song would have been sung in the Assembly. But it seems that the president of the party did not give them guidelines in time, so they dedicated an entire day to possible colour revolutions.

Who wants to […] manipulate the citizens of Serbia on certain issues in order to become recognisable in public, to conduct certain protests bringing them at the helm when next year’s elections come, and to simply enter the Parliament and try to talk about topics which really have nothing to do with environmental protection, expropriation or a referendum.“

“Savo Manojlović and the rest of the crew are counting on that, that by manipulating these young people they will achieve their political and, eventually, their economic goals, i.e. continue plundering and ruining Serbia, the Serbia we really love, while they love only their own pockets.“

Shame on you! They set fire to this Assembly – vandalism. They beat the police – violence, and we are talking about their democracy. That is not democracy and our President is not a fascist. He is the greatest democrat that this country has given birth to.“

The aim is to send a bad image of Serbia and its government to the public, so that, like it was the case with other similar colour revolutions, protests could spread, conflicts in the streets escalate, which would provoke a civil war, which would then illegally replace lawful and legitimate government elected by a striking majority of our people.”

“December is here, it is wintertime, it is cold, supporters of their politics are so lazy that I do not believe that they will gather in larger numbers during the winter. They will create a little tension in March, they will try to organise some crazy demonstrations and attacks again.“

On the same day, the President said that the citizens were worried for good reasons. He did not sign the Law on Expropriation. Amendments to the Law on Referendum were urgently proposed, which these same MPs adopted without discussion.

For the Open Parliament, Mirjana Nikolić.
